Events & PR Lead

Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:

● Reporting to the Senior Brand Marketing Department Manager, you will lead the Events & PR day-to-day tasks, and successfully deliver successful Events & PR placements to support both campaign launches & key brand opportunities.
● Responsible for organising and executing PR, Social and Influencer events to tie in with launches
● Responsible for influencer attendance and social coverage at the events
● Support the brand marketing department, by developing a successful Events strategy to support the growth of the brand’s social media presence, engagement & site sales
● Manage and develop PR presence across our key territories, ensuring we have a strong presence across all major publications
● Managing all events, activations & PR opportunities from start to finish, ensuring the EGO standard is met
● Manage & report against a monthly forecasted budget to best-utilise spend against upcoming opportunities
● Proactively using initiative to seek out new opportunities and ways to work with established and up-and-coming press-worthy talent
● Developing and nurturing strong, personal relationships with partners, suppliers & agencies
● Ongoing external partner, supplier & agency management in line with events & activations, ensuring negotiations play a key part, and managing all invoices & costs recorded into budget
● Ensuring invoices are kept up to date, and the budget aligns accordingly
● Responsible for creating monthly Events & PR reports to ensure KPIs are met & reviewing new ways of working when we need to pivot
● Regularly reporting to the Senior Brand Marketing Manager, with strong communication & clear plans against each
● Occasionally presenting to senior leadership, including the CEO
● Devising innovative ideas to maximise exposure around launches
● Work closely with the Marketing team to drive growth and implement creative campaigns across all social platforms, ensuring social is thoughtfully factored into campaigns, promotions, partnerships, and events
● Keep up to date with key events, national days, pop culture and media relevant to our audience
● Keeping up to date with Stylist Gifting and Celebrity and PR requests, ensuring all product arrives on time and no opportunities are missed
● Drive ‘out of the box’ thinking when it comes to interacting with our audience

What we’re looking for:

● At least 5 years experience in a similar role. Fashion or beauty business experience is preferred
● Enjoy & comfortable working at pace
● A passionate and extremely ambitious individual with a creative flair who wants to make a difference to build the brand
● Passionate about the latest fashion trends, pop culture & understands our customer inside & out
● Extremely proficient on all Social Media Channels
● Excellent copywriting abilities with strong grammar, spelling & presenting skills are essential
● Eager and dedicated, taking initiative of specific directives
● You collaborate well and bring a positive energy to the team
● Highly confident in presenting to and working with senior team members
● Confident in daily & weekly reporting, using relevant tools & channels to pull data
● Competent in Excel
● Exceptional Organisational Skills
● Excellent communication skills with an ability to build strong cross departmental relationships
